Father Michael S. Tinnon

Founder and President

Father Michael is an ordained priest in the Episcopal Church, USA. He attended the University of Kentucky earning the Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. He then pursued theological studies completing the Master of Religious Education and Master of Divinity degrees. In 2001, he was awarded the Doctor of Ministry degree from Asbury Theological Seminary with specialized emphasis in effective pastoral leadership. Michael has taught courses in philosophy, ethics, church history and communications at the high school and college levels.

In 1987, Fr. Michael received a Presidential appointment to serve our nation’s interests as a military chaplain. He first entered the United States Army Chaplain Corps in 1987 and was later selected to serve as a Protestant chaplain in the United States Air Force alongside his wife (Becky).

Michael was privileged to spend the majority of his military career providing spiritual support to our military service members supporting global contingencies around the world. He retired from active duty service in 2010 with over twenty-eight years of distinguished military service.

He currently serves as the Priest-in-Charge at the Episcopal Church of the Blessed Sacrament in Placentia, California.

His is married to the former Becky Vollick, also an ordained Episcopal priest. They have three children: Brad, Ashley, and John.

Ms. Becky Vollick-Tinnon

Director, Psychological Counseling & Therapy Interventions

A native of Newcastle, Pennsylvania, Becky was first ordained by the General Church of the Nazarene in May 1996. She received a direct commission to the United States Air Force Chaplain Service in July 1998 and served as a military chaplain until November 1992. Becky has served as curate, parish priest, and as chaplain in the U.S. military as well as hospital and hospice settings.

Mr. John E. Tinnon

Director, Affordable Housing & Program Operations

John is the youngest son of Michael and Becky Tinnon. He was born in Rolla, Missouri, near Ft. Leonard Wood (aka Ft. Lost in the Woods) Missouri, where his father (Michael) served his first tour of duty as an Army Chaplain.
